Katie started her massage therapy career in 2008, and brings to Wild Coast Wellness a wide range of experience to benefit her clients.

Katie’s practice is focused in pregnancy, postnatal care including c-section scar rehabilitation, breast/chest care and pelvic pain. As a mother herself, she understands the need for massage therapy during the childbearing years.

Every client is unique and Katie understands this, utilizing treatments to address each patient’s particular needs. She creates a treatment plan and home care regime with the patient that will cater to each individual’s needs, whether it is rehabilitation, prevention or maintenance.

Katie is continuously learning about evidence based approaches to pain. Her treatment approach is to create an environment for the body to heal itself through positive manual therapy and to promote self efficacy.

Patient centred care is important.

Katie graduated from the 3000 hour massage therapy program at the Victoria campus of West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2007 and is a self proclaimed life-long learner. She can often be found watching a webinar or attending a course!

Katie is excited to be in her hometown of Nanaimo and bring her therapeutic skill set to you. She looks forward to sharing her passion for massage therapy and a healthy lifestyle.
